| NMMA calls for presentations at BoatBuilding 2002 The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) issued a call for presentations on Wednesday, 6 February, for BoatBuilding 2002, taking place 25 to 27 September at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. NMMA said presentations for BoatBuilding 2002 should be specific and focused on the targeted audience that represents the following functions in boat building: - Engineering - Design - Production - Purchasing - Management Presentations may be 30, 45 to 60 or 90 minutes in length and some may be grouped together in a forum or panel discussion. All presentations must be non-commercial in nature, focusing on a technology rather than a company's commercial product; those deemed as commercial will not be accepted, said NMMA. For their participation, presenters will receive a daily conference admission for the date(s) that they are presenting at no charge. The deadline for submitting a presentation for consideration is 11 March 2002. Presentations will be selected based on content and relevance to the targeted list of attendee functions described. Selected presenters will be notified by 29 March. |
