Need advice on Boatbuilding/Restoration Schools

Hello,
I'm looking into wooden boat building/restoration as a career and was wonding if anyone on these boards attended schools such as The Landing School or IYRS in Newport (the two schools I'm looking at). I'm especially interested in the reputations of these programs, how the industry views them, etc.
Thanks in advance.
