| how to become License Naval Architect? Hi, I'm a fresh graduate of the Southampton Institute in the UK with a B.Eng in yacht & Powercraft Design. I recently understood that there is a big issue about being a license engineer in order to work as a Naval Architect in the USA. If anyone knows more about what qualification is needed in order to work in America as a yacht Designer? and how can I achieve an engineering license? I'll appreciate any input on this subject Ran |

| The license requirements (and the need to have a license) vary state by state. The test is now commonly administered by the NCEES. Usually you will need to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam right out of school and then get 5 years experience before you can sit the NA&ME Professional Engineering exam.
