Drafting (manual) tools...

I have enrolled in Y.D.S. it seems like the logical choice to me . After reading this forum for a while and some e-mail to and from Tom Macnaughton , which was honest, and quite speedy too, I got going on the first lesson and sent it in , (I should have sent an extra copy so they don't run out of room for all the comments and corrections I'm expecting)...Then I searched ebay and found the tools needed ,planimeter, drafting machine etc. at a fraction of the cost of new..the only problem I have now is,,,I have two drafting machines(that bidding thing can be addicting) so if any Y.D.S. students are interested, I will sell it only for what I paid for it plus shipping....Remember....draw----draw----draw !! Dan

How about a planimeter?

I've already got a drafting machine, but if anyone has an extra planimeter that you can afford to let go cheaply, I'm interested.

I'm not a YDS student yet, but I have tentative permission from my wife to change that.

My planimeter is a Lasico Model L-10 which I would sell for $100 plus shipping. It was used once and is in perfect condition. It retails for $189 (http://www.engineersupply.com/Produc...productid=ES54)

Let me know if you're interested. Email me through this forum.
