| "Try yelling at a fish in a tank and nothing happens. Tap on the glass and it bolts." Had an uncle that was a commercial fisherman in South Jersey. He installed a Lister 1 cylinder thumper hard mounted in his work boat , and his claim was it called rather than scared the fish. He did make a living , but I don't know if his theory holds water.
