| I have seen the 90's VW TDI used,and Kubota and John Deer compact tractor diesels.If your boat is going to be hauled in/out every trip,I would not worry about lighting strikes.Salt water does conduct electricity a lot better than fresh water.The easiest engines would be the non turbo mechanical injected motors.You can loose all electric power and still make it home. |
