zf 2 speed

hello everyone ive just bought a 440 yanmar diesel and zf 2 speed box but how does it change gear there is only 2 wires going to the box that i see and they are for an oil light maby its automatic any help would be good

Cant help with the wiring ,

but the ZF90 is my first choice at creating a 5 nmpg at 18K boat. What are you going to stick it in?

its a 27ft fletcher zingaro all in weight is only 2 ton currently doing 54mph with a 300 mercruiser diesel so the 440 yanmar should make a good difference what you think

must be what the drawings refere to as mecanical selector

i think the mechanical selector is the forward and reverse cable is mechanical electric is usin a button for forward and reverse but dont see anything on drawing about two speed shift
