They use boats that look like this for pushing logs; ![]() ...but they are nearly impossible to roll and are sealed against water intrusion.

O K .... newinertia , I think you actually highlighted the problem with steel boats ...when they are built in this diminutive size. This boat is not safe for any kind of water that is not totally flat , all of the time. The boat is clearly grossly over powered and , in fact is sinking down into its self generated hull wave. I believe that the wake this little boat produces is actually quite unacceptable. Then again , if you want to buy diesel just to push a lot of water around , its your money after all. That little tug would benefit a great deal from being a little larger. At very little cost ,and in steel, I might add. It could then be quite a nice little boat. As it is now , its a pig !!!! Your manners however ( or rather lack of ) need more attention than the boat. You would benefit a great deal more if you built some character first , and not a boat . Unhappy childhood ?

I think Apex did a good enough job on him, beating me to him, after us/him being called a "slimy bastard, dumbasses, and pussies". He may have gotten a better response if he had the smarts to post it under "Boat Design" or "Powerboats" instead of "Diesel Engines"

With his attitude, I don't think he'll ever get a good response, Han.

I find it hard NOT to like the boat. Sure, it's overloaded by a huge engine that occupies the whole "cabin." There's barely room for 1 person and it's only (barely) safe in protected waters, but hey, it's cool as heck, like a silly hot rod (vw bug w/ a blown 454 type thing). I love the sound and seeing it idle at what, 20 rpm? I'd love to see that motor in a boat twice as big.

Please, please, let's keep the forums civil and on-topic and an enjoyable place to visit and share opinions positive and negative. I don't understand why someone was inflamed here, so I'll leave it at that. |

I could have posted this when the whole thing started, but a bad attitude made me choose not to. However I'm sure others will appreciate them as I do,something with the same general look and at least useful. Tons of room,a head, standing headroom, and can sleep in them. http://www.benford.us/index.html?pcty/ http://www.benford.us/pdf/PCTY.pdf
