| Perkins 4236 injection pump Hi Is any one able to advise as to whether a pump on my 4236 has to be changed for one with the exact same codes. Unfortunatly there is no cav plate with the codes but some one has engraved them on to the casing but im not able to deciepher them correctly this is what i believe the say. 3248440 29472pj 1.850.2660 the code ending in pj dates the engine to march 67 which i think would be about right. As for the first one the only cav pump i can find with a similar code is 3248f440. i found that here http://www.omapdiesel.it/catalog/101_132.htm Any help will be greatly apreciated as i havent been able to use the boat for ages now and need to get it fixed.
