I have been assigned a project to design the main engine seating for a PSV using FEA, can any one suggest any books or Research papers or any other material that could be of any help?
    Thank you.

Your heading says main engine foundation which implies the engine bed from the engine to the transmission, to the propeller shaft, to the bearings and exit bearing in the hull.

Engine seat usually refers to the detail of supporting the main engine to the bed via fixed/adjustable brackets or anti vibration mounts.
