| Exhaust design and layout I'm in the process of installing a new motor and exhaust system into my sailboat. My concern is the distance from the high rise exhaust where the water is injected to the waterlift muffler. Is there a rule of thumb for how far the drop should be? This is a 38 hp diesel with a 2" exhaust and the waterlift muffler is round in shape 8,5"x14" Thanks for any help |

| The best is to make it as high as you can! without too much back pressure for the engine. Simplest is a larger 12inch diameter (instead of 6 inch) water lift muffler . FF |
