| Cummins V504 As a result of a "swapping chain" years ago, a Cummins v8 diesel type V504 came to rest in a dark corner of the workshop here. Seemingly in a decent condition, has been "winterized", oil looks/smells ok, exterior clean and sane, shaft has been rotated now and then. Anyone having personal knowledge/experience/tech info to share on this engine?? Is contemplating its use in a test vessel, as it is "for free", but don't want to end up chasing engine bugs in the mids of a testing sequence, so what say you? Better to use it for mooring? |

| Such engines sell at 3 to 4.000$ in the US (reconditioned), thats all I can provide. Regards Richard
