| alloy 21'6'' tug hi to all'' i will like to have advice on the type of engine for may tug progect, building a KEN ANTKINSON DESIGN -TITAN,displacement a DWL 5850lbs. draft 2'9''/power range 15-40 hp/prop 18''x10''pitch/keel kooler,2.1mtx 80mm void each side =4.2mtx80mm ,the engine will be BETA = (kubota ) 25-28hp diesel ,shaft zize 1-1/2''/speed within hp range 6.5 knots max. beafore i buy the motor i want to have more information to make sure i will choose the rigth zize engine., any advice are very welcome that will be grate. cheers carlos |

| Get a 32 hp Isuzu from Klassen Engines. They supply a good steel exhaust manifold and have good prices. Say your'e a fisherman. They deal mostly w fishermen. I have one of their engines ..a 37 hp Mitsubishi. Easy Rider |

| easy rider for your help,,,,,,i have some ideas from other builders. your advice it's one of my opccions ,beacause i have a kool keel void's i could use a normal tractor motor,up to 40hp,but the capasity kooling area will be no more then 30-32hp engine,the idea to use kooling area insted of a radiator,my tug will be only for pleasure no for working ,the gear box will be bery important as you mention most regards CARLOS |
