Advice on a engine

Hello
I have found a couple of engines and I hope some of you can tell me if they are good designs.
One is a Detroit/Volvo Tamb73p 430hp with less than 400 hours. I will need to find more info.
Next is a 671TI 485hp with a MG507A 1.5;1 again I will need to get more info.

Thanks for your help

With the ratings provided I would assume both these engines are from a high speed sport fish.

IF that is what you need , great , but if its for a boat that onlt will be using 100 or 200 hp, a better choice could be made.

Either of these engines will be really hard pressed to run 1000hours as sport fish engines.

This is NORMAL, and accepted for high performance.
