XFoil - NCrit

What Ncrit for sea water is used? Apparently 9 is usually taken. But according to http://www.esotec.co.nz/condorkeel/Html/update.html Ncrit should be more around 1. Does anyone have experience in foil testing and knowledge of transition behaviour in sea water?
