| ...Two Multisurf questions... Hi All, I need an expert advice on this Please refer to attached examples:1) 3D_sheer.ms2 this particullar ProcCurve construction in MS5 is rather unstable for AbsBead AA beyond t=0.99 with accompanying 303 error code. Does anybody know how it could be solved? 2) knotlist_2.ms2 does anybody know the reason for this NURBcurve with knotlist2 only partially beeing drawn ? I'd really appreciate any help THANKS! kalada |

| ...no entrances?...well, I'll try to reach the answers myself then, through the some kind of monobrain storming But public, off course...and it would take some time too...ad1)...it seems that ProcCurve is sensible on horizontal projection entrance angle. As it nears the 90deg the sheer is less stable ?!?... ad2) ?...blank... ![]() |

| I'm not sure how much this will help you but FWIW I have had nothing but disappointing results from proc curves and proc surfaces. They sound great in theory but in practice (and I can only speak from my own experience) they fall flat. If I was making that sheer curve I would be inclined to build a transverse surface based on the upper knuckle Bcurve (relcurve the upper knuckle & cloft between them) and project the upper lower knuckle Bcurve onto the surface as a snake. I must confess that i have never used a knot list & would be of even less help in that file. Cheers

| SurfaceWorks Marine is no longer offered. It was packaged that way to make a distinction as having a different user interface than MultiSurf. Now all functionality is moved to the new interface and the brand MultiSurf is for all marine users and the SurfaceWorks brand is for the Industrial Design customers. Both programs can be integrated with SolidWorks. |
