| Is there any Free software to Assist in Sail Planning and Ballast Placement? I think that I can use Freeship to adjust the placement of trim but what about the affects of ballast placement on ship handling? What software can I use to design a Sailplan for my sailboat (free or low cost). Is there software to design the riging loads and the sails? and then model on my hull design? Thanks... | There is free sail design software from www.sailcut.com however you cannot export the sail as a 3d design. It will however export the panels needed to build the sail in 2d dxf format. |
