| Stability calculations of a floating crane I am a user of formsys Maxsurf in India and would like to know some answers for the following doubts:- We have to compute stability of a floating crane and I have found that to calculate the stability of the floating crane, we have to run loading conditions with the load at all extreme positions of jib outreach. can this type of computations be carried out in Hydromax ? If yes then how? Thank you |

| Just add the lifted mass to your W&M sheet in the worst case positions and enter to new COG accordingly. If you are doing transverse stability with a load on a cable you'll probably have to re calculate the COG for each angle of heel with maxsurf. Be aware that there may be dynamic effects from the swinging load that need to be considered depends on the lift arrangement and how everything is stayed.

| Thank you very much. We have to compute the stability of floating crane with the load broken off the hook. can this be done in Hydromax? If yes then how? |
