Rhino 4 has a WAMIT file exporter. You could get your SolidWorks geometry into Rhino 4 and then save to WAMIT. Thanks, -Steve

Hey Steve, Thanks for the answer. I have read on the forum that Rhino has a pretty knit module for Naval Architecture stuff. Problem is we don't have license for Rhino. Next week I'll try Ansys or Stacs both FEM software. Thanks anyway ML

I'm not sure what you mean by a "knit module" but you could always download and use the evaluation version of Rhino 4. It will let you save 25 times before the evaluation runs out. This way you could see if the Solidworks->Rhino->Wamit file transfer works for you. Thanks, -Steve

Ok, Thanks for the help... ML PS: "knit module" = "nice interface or software add-on or something else probably..?"
