Sofware

Hey, guys! Do you know what software(s) do I need so I could make a 3D cruise ship model, a layout and a blueprint?

Is there any tutorials?

Thanks a lot!

The best is always the software you are familiar with :-)

There is a "complete" list at poll questions above. Most of them have free demo version and tutorials. See web sites.

Probably. you need separate software for 3D, drafting and (for real ships) hydrostatics and hydrodynamics.

I use Rhino for 3D, Autocad for drafting, Phaser (Rhinomarine) for hydrotatics and Michlet for hydrodynamics plus some own applications for hydrodynamics, parametrics and structures (in Excel and Mathcad).
