Simply Question for a newbi

When you purchase Autoship software, does it come with a manual telling you how to use it? Are there any books I should buy to help me get started?

1. You don't have to buy AutoLISP - it comes with your AutoCAD package. With config option you may or may not disable it, but the default is 'on'.

2. There are some very good books available on AutoLISP. However, there are a lot of sites offering good tutorials.

3. when you start with autolisp, it might be a good idea to download a lisp editor. After all, not for nothing the other name of lisp is "lost in the silly parenthesis !"
