simple question

Hello

Are there any basic software for floodable length calculations only?
Or anyone can send me a spreadsheet to do that.
I got no time to do this in excel.

Thanks for your replies.

again...excuse my english...

thanks pro_user, but I can't find "Calculation - Curve of limiting lengths of compartments", anyway I appreciate your attention.

I've been searching for floodable lenghts calculation, but I still can't find anything.

I would appreciate if anyone tell me about floodable length, I mean, some usefull link or a excel sheet.

thanks

SeaHydro

It's from this web site. I use it. May be I misunderstand you? is it not floadable lenght calculation?

Sea Hydro is able to produce following curves and diagrams:

geometrical characteristic curves;
hydrostatic curves;
Bonjeane’s curves;
Firsov diagram;
curve of limiting lengths of compartments;
pant currents;
universal stability diagram;
special stability diagrams;
graphs of shifted forces and bending moments of hull on calm water and assumed settled on wave;

Please check it. May be it is not sutable for you?

hopw to use this seahydro?

i have maxsurf and the hydromax package which comes along with it can do the floodable length calculations but due to some glitch in it it doesnt open the maxsurf design file.

Now that i have modeled the design entirely using maxsurf how do i use seahydro what parameters does it take? do i have to model the ship again?
