shell expansion and midship section drawing in workshop

I am trying workshop for structural design.
but I am not understanding all things good. I am very keen to know how to do the shell expansion drawing and midship section drawing in workshop. It is very urgent for me because I am wanting to buy workshop if I look it is very good for my structural designs.
please help me by giving leason how to draw the shell expansion and midship drawing in workshop .

Shell expansion is simple spread hull to floor of workshop.You can measure outskirts frame and display its value lenght in floor. This work could do by Autocad, not need Autoplate (because of too expensive)

May be you can write a lisp in autocad for shell expansion.
I would write it but i don't know lisp.
