Section locations

The program that I use allows the placement of any number of stations in any location. In a 'normal' 11 station design, the location of #10 is at the intersection of the transom CL and the WL. The subsequent station is then produced by 'projecting' the underwater shape back onto this station section. However my program doesn't perform this neat little trick, so I am forced to place station #10 further forward - at the point where the full underwater shape can be represented.
Would this be regarded as acceptable for a set of lines?
Assuming a 10 metre LWL, should I use a common interval of 1.0m for stations 0 - 9, then say 0.9m to station 10? Or should I simply make the CI 0.99m?

Stations 9 & 10 - with #10 located as far back as will allow the section to produce the 'correct' shape:
