Rhino joining/connecting surfaces?

Hi all,

It is hard to explain in words really but I want to join the surfaces I have created for sunpads and passenger/driver areas to the deck. Have a look at the pics and you will hopefully see what I mean.

Thanks

JordieS there are many and varied ways of doing that but why not just extrude the deck edges down then trim them off flat.
