Wow... fluent... that sounds like a PhD in the making...

How about some technical articles and a spreadsheet, or piece of paper... I haven't looked into it myself, but would suspect that it's been looked into... There's a guy in the states... his name escapes me now, but hopefully someone else on the list can help me... ATB's are pretty much his focus... At one time he and one other guy were considered the experts... Anyhow, he might have written some articles or ideas on how to solve the problem... I'd start looking in Marine Technology (SNAME) or the Naval Architect (RINA) and of course on line...

maybe you should try autoship..i think that is the fit software for you to get
the hull resistance of the barge.
