a question about Delftship - start with hard chine hull?

Is there a way to start it up so you are already working with a hard chine hull?

Ok...so that was a bit cryptic It is easy enough to change...highlight one of the lines that run longitudinally from stem to stern (hold down the ctrl key and click on the line). Then go the the button that looks like a quarter curve and a corner. This will create a chine along the line. Make sure you right click and deselect all or you might change things you don't want to.

I setting up the design parameters you can chose the amount of horizontal lines . For a single chine just use three.

sounds easy enough.... just thought they would have an option to start with a bare bones hard chine boat. not everyone wants a sailboat type of hull it's kind of like bobbing up and down on a beer bottle in the middle of the ocean

Steve, just make a simple model in freeships . Get some pics and dimensions.
Then save that model , and when you want to work on it you have a base model to start with. Dont forget to rename the new design and save it.
