modelling in rhino;from a given lines plan

from a lines plan in dxf or dwg format, i want to model the ship in rhino.
I can get the parallel middle body by simply lofting the sectional curves from body plan, but it seems hard to me to model the bow and stern parts. simply lofting the curves doesnt give me always the bow shape, specially for the bulbous bow.
would you plz tell me how can i model the bow from a given lines plan???
thanx!

if you have enough sections of that area patch command can work. if you dont have, than you have to create that sections

If loft doesn't work then 'Patch' is one way, another is 'networksrf'. You are probably better off with a few waterlines as well as sections for these commands. Also I would model the bulbous bow separately then the surfaces will be easier. Then section the surface and check your sections against the original input, edit the surface until it fits.

Another thing you may want to try is to grip editing of a surface with the PointDeviation command running. Use points from your input lines and move the surface until it hits your desired lines.

Thanks,
