| Meshing imported Rhino surfaces in Femap What is the best file format (iges, step...) for export surfaces from Rhino to Femap? I was using Femap only for meshing simple objects without surface geometry in background. Now I'm trying to mesh some object that I sketched in Rhino...so the question is: must I model nodes on each point that were imported with geometry or is there a more simple method? Can anybody direct me in few sentences, for example, meshing with plate elements...beam is 30mmx30mm... Best regards! |
