Maxsurf/workshop V's Autoship

Can anyone who has knowledge of both programs give a summary of the differences between them.

They both seem very capable of creating surfaces, plate development, stability, resistance.

However I am particularly interested in how Autoship users generate stringers and create frame sections with stringer punchouts. Cant find anything on their web site about that. I know Workshop does it well but am curious about Autoship.

I am about to spend a lot of money on Software so I need to make sure I get it right.
