LMH

I'm not the designer you're looking for, sorry, but I was wondering when your software for Mac hull design will be out.

I hope LMH will be released in August/September. Unfortunately at the moment it looks more like September/October.

Cheers,

Tim B.

Darn. But it should work on OSX and be capable of designing hulls (and other marine vessel structures etc.)?

Check out TouchCAD, which run on both Mac and Windows. OSX too, 10.1 to 10.4

LMH is primarily developed on Linux, but it is written in C and C++ using the QT3 developement environment from Trolltech. QT3 will run under Mac or Linux, so it should just be a case of re-compiling it under Mac-OS. Unfortunately I don't have a mac, but I can send you the source-code, mackid, if you could send back the compiled binary that would be useful, as I can then post it on the official site (www.MarineDesign.tk).

Cheers,

Tim B.
