| Lines breaks while using "make2d" command in Rhino I faced this problem often. When I use make2d command in Rhino sometimes the lines are broken and distorted. I wonder why this happens. Is there any solution of this? I have attached one file which shows that problem.

| Use "ProjectToCPlane" to obtain a 2d version of the curves. You may have to rotate and move the curves to your desired location. I tried it on you example and the curves projected on the CPlane were not broken. |

| Hi Pavel, Yes, As DCockey says, use the ProjectToCplane command if you want each curve to be drawn individually. Make2d will hide curves which are aligned with each other in the viewport you are creating the drawing from. It assumes you will be making a drawing which will not require each line to be individual. It is similar to drawing by hand in which case you would not draw over each line with your pencil because it is unneccessary. |
