I'm guessing that you create the surface in shipcam and then send it to shipconstructor, There is no way to do what you want without losing accuracy of such surface, usually the surfaces that you use in shipconstructor are useless, becouse they are just meshes and not a nurb surfaces wich you may be able to reuse in other softwares, the only way is to aproximate such surface in any other software like maxsurf, but still is not like "saving and open it on maxsurf" so you have to find the best way to aproximate such surface.

there is some ways to recreate such surface with good tolerances but it will not be 100% the same.

Don't know what your trying to do, but might be an idea to try it the other way around! Design the boat in Maxsurf and transfer it to whatever program you want, for whatever reason.
You'll always have the problem of the one program not corresponding with the other, unless they are specially designed that way.

Maxsurf is for designing hulls, Shipconstructor is for building them. The ShipConstructor hull module can import IGES NURBS surfaces from Maxsurf, but does not export them.

As Dutch Peter said, design your hull in Maxsurf then export to ShipConstructor.
