I am guessing you are using a computer program? What kind of software is it? In Rhino for example, if you use a nurbs curve (or surface) of third degreee you may need three points in line to force the curve into that line.

I use freeship.when I try to extrude the cabin and superstructure after in a specific stations. But splitting the chine doesn't bring the new point to the specific station without modifying the geometry of the faired hull. I'm thinking May be there is a way to insert the new points to deck chine in specific stations

Hi Ahmed, You can always download and use the evaluation version of Rhino at: http://www.rhino3d.com/eval.htm Rhino was designed to work as a good companion to AutoCAD and you should be able to share AutoCAD DWG files back and forth with Rhino. If you want to buy Rhino, just let me know. Thanks, -Steve
