DELFTship should save to FREE!ship format. Click "FILE-->Save As", and down at the bottom of the dialog box you should see the option "Save as Type". Select "Version 2.6" (or whatever) and your FREE!ship should be able to read the file.

(It crosses my mind that the free version of DELFTship might not include the "Save As" feature...I'm not sure.)

tried this, actually yes you can save into freeship, but you cant open in freeship, says not a valid file, others have tried too, I suspect it is becuz they want you to buy the pro version

Is this what were after, select all points from sheer down to fairbody (pic01), then go to FACE>NEW (pic02). Then select all the edge lines. Then up to EDGE>CREASE (pic03), deselect all. Then select the opposite edge line, go to EDGE >SPLIT (pic04), deselect all, select new point and in the dialogue box, tick corner box, then move point to where you want (pic05).
