help

Hello,

I have with me some lines export as "dxf" format from maxsurf ,and I want to get these lines into rhino and start working on them. but I'm a freshman on using rhino, so if somebody could give a directory about rhino would be great!and of course an example of ship design(external and internal ) would be Perfect!
MY E-MAIL:luqingxin-lqx@163.com

Thanks very much!

I assume you are working in 3d. Don't use dxf to transfer your models, export from Maxsurf as an .iges file, and import that into Rhino and you will have the same 3d model to work further with.

Naturally, both these packages come with manual and tutorials that will show you how to export and import. Also, search this forum, and the Rhino people provide lots of links to many free tutorials...

Good Luck!
