FreeShip Questions

In FreeShip how do you enclose a transom? With extrude? Second, how do you tell FreeShip that the transom on a double ended canoe is closed. Thanks!

You can use the extrude command to start the tramsom and then set the newpoints to a Y value of zero. On a canoe stern, just set the aft set of points to a Y value of zero.

Freeship is just looking for leak points when it is doing hydrostatics. All Y points on centerline, below the waterline, must be set to zero or you will have a leak and the hydrostatic calculations don't work. Leaks are indicated by a different color of control point.
