Freeship in Linux

Anyone with a linux machine want to help me see if I have everything working properly using the W.I.N.E. compatibility layer? (I don't know all the things FreeShip can do.)

Are you having any luck or problems Schooner?

People were talking about it a year ago here
FreeShip on Linux?

Mixed results on the sourceforce project page

Thinking about it myself.

Oh, I used wine. I don't remember any dependencies like .dll's or anything. Although I have installed several programs which did require stuff so I may have already installed everything. I don't know enough about it yet to really know how to use it. Are there any tutorials? I looked for a bit, then went back to blender to draw in.
