Free 3D software for propeller design???

Hi.
Doing a thesis on propellers for college. Is there any 3D software online for designing propellers. Help much appreciated.

You have picked a tough one; I hope you will share your paper with us when it’s done. Propellers are such a simple device, but so complex to design.

I found some software when I was learning to draw propellers, they are on the expensive side. I can try to find them again them if you are interested.

Cheers for the interest Gary. The only problem is that all my of my budget is tied up in the prototyping of the propeller so i'm really looking for freebies. Anything that would make my propeller design easier to draw/modify and more accurate.
All help appreciated

and there is an java applet thst shows the 3D of a propellers after input values for it,

java applet for propeller design

try this for designing a propeller:

i know it's originally made for aviation propellers, but martin hepperle makes some comments about hydro propellers as well.
under "options" in the applet you can set the density, kinematic viscosity.
