expander no more kenny.."they kill expander".....those bastards..... "Expander IMPORTANT NOTICE 20 December 2006 ShipConstructor Software Inc. will discontinue Expander sales as of 31 January 2007 and discontinue Expander support as of 30 June 2007. Expander will not be upgraded for use with Rhino 4. The ShipConstructor Hull module incorporates all of the capabilities available in Expander as part of its vastly more comprehensive software package. Many of our Expander clients already make use of ShipConstructor Hull - if you currently don't, we encourage you to investigate the compatibility of ShipConstructor Hull with your design needs." What will rhinomarine will do??

How well does the smash command do in expanding plates?. Maybe in Rhino 4this function will be accurate enough to take over the task of Expander.

What are we not providing in Rhino 4's UnrollSrf and Smash commands that you need for plate expansion? Thanks, -Steve

Since the Expander plug-in from Ship Constructor will not be available for Rhino 4.0, we have started developing a replacement. This is the first prototype. http://en.wiki.mcneel.com/default.as...lattening.html

Place the Expand.tb where you want it on your computer. Run the Toolbar command in Rhino and open the .tb file. I think the instructions on the web page may be misleading; don't move the tb file after you have opened it with the Toolbar command. Thanks, -Steve
