delftship layer intersection

hello again everyone.
I’ve recently started using delftship and I’m getting better at hull modeling every day.
now I wanted to take it a bit further and I am having trouble with creating intersections of layers and deleting unwanted stuff...
I’ve seen this thread @ delftship forum and tried doing the same but with little success.
does anyone know how to do that?!
are there a bit more detailed instructions for creating intersections and how to delete unwanted stuff?!
