Best Software For Boat Design on OSX? (Sorry, didn't search)

What software would you use on OSX to design a small, tender size vessel?

I'm looking to design a 16ft tender - long and skinny.

I'd need to be able to define:

*Stations
*Curves at sheer and keel
*Complex hull curve - skinny footprint when riding high, more displacement when loaded down to max load
*Bulkheads/stringers

I'd need to calculate:

*Structural integrity of skin and framing system
*Loading of ama and cross member
*Hydrodynamic resistance for various hull shapes
*Buoyancy
*Static stability

Any idea what software that works on OSX to use? Thanks.

I googled "os x drafting" and a whole bunch of stuff came up, including marketing sites.

 

Is that all I need? A drafting or modeling program?

I figured I'd need some software that actually knows what a waterline is, no?

Or... do I just do it all on paper for a small tender?

 

You can do a lot of it by knowing the weights of materials and machinery, etc. Knowing displacement of cargo you can adjust seating for trim and so on. Of course, I am not a naval architect so others can give a much more qualified answer.

 

Why hasn't anyone else chimed in on this? I am not to be the last word for this important question.

Basically, I'm looking at building a "long and lean" dinghy for high speeds, but no planing. I think Gonzo first suggested it a year ago, now I'm on board.
