Maxsurf Problem

Chaser,

This looks like a continuation of your previous posts - yes?

I think if you need some help then you will have to attach some more information to your posting.
You need to include the following:
Hull definition file - e.g. problemship.msd
Compartment definition file - e.g. problemship.htk
Load case file - e.g problemship.hml
Damage case - e.g problemship.dcs

Also provide the specific criteria you are working to e.g MCA, USCG etc.

Hydromax Problem

chaser,

Had a quick look at your files and the only number that is giving you problems is the port offset for the provisions (-0.874).
Any value over about -0.7 is giving you the error you posted.
Similarly if you change the heel and the downflood point to port for the stability analysis the error does not occur!
I can only conclude that over -0.7 there is a hull definition clash, maybe this is something for you to check.

Hope this helps.

PS If I ever come to China you can buy me a beer.

Maxsurf Learning

Chaser,

As we say'Flattery will get you anywhere', however I don't think I have the spare time to help you consistently so my best advice is to take a training course in Maxsurf/Hydromax etc.

I see from your e-mail address you work for a large yacht builder and I think you should approach them to buy you some formal training. After all it will be to the benefit of everyone!

Good Luck
