| http://www.seasolution.com./eng/prices.htm for prices... and the answer's "not on my budget mate!" Also, I couldn't find a screen-shot on the site. It would be nice to see one. On a similar subject, my LMH software is progressing nicely and should be available (alpha release) by October. This might satisfy a few cravings for a simple Hull Designer for Linux. I'm not planning to port the alpha release to Windows, but if anyone really wants me to, then please e-mail and ask. more LMH info on www.MarineDesign.tk Cheers, Tim B.

| Anybody have any luck using or hold a tangent line in fairing with NURBS? I do a lot detailed lofting and find that information from NURBS tends to be very non-specific. The NURBS based lines that I work from never seem to be quite correct. I am looking for somebody good at NURBS fairing to have discussuins with. I have used Autokon, Tribon, ShipConstructor but I have stayed away from NURBS for production work. |

| I have a lot examples of final lofting lines from NURBS. It's may be about 200 ships in Norway has been made with NURBS in SeaSlution. All of them final fairing for production. Of course NURBS is quite special in comparison with other methods, but for my opinion problem for meny NURBS based systems is poor surface quality checking methods. We can discuss more if you want. This is very interesting discussion for me.
