| 3D Studio Max Hey Guys, I am new to this board. I have just come accross i while looking for plans in google images, this community seems pretty professional ! I have been into boats for quite some time now (mainly the Titanic but also others) and I have been enjoying sailing my boats in a sailing simulato called Virtual Sailor. (you can visit the homepage for this sim at: http://www.hangsim.com/vs) Quite alot of the boat modelers on there use something called 3D Sudio Max to model their boats; do any of you guys use 3ds max? Also, if any of you do, are there any pictures of your creations? I am very interested into what ths community uses to model its amazing boats. Thanks, Alec

| I don't feel 3D Studio Max has the drawing precision or fairing control to design a (real) boat. It is a fantastic tool for rendering though. |
