Users manual for Lloyd's Special services crafts

Hi!

I need help urgently.

Does anyone have a copy of the software users manual for the Lloyds Special Service Craft program, version 3.0? ( year 1999).

I'm undergraduated and I'm designing a catamaran to finish my studies. We have to use this program but I don't understand it.

Pleasee... helpppp....!!!

Thank you

If it is required for your studies than I would kind of expect some form of student discount? Or perhaps it is installed on pc's at your university / school?
At least that how it was when I was at university.

All universities get roughly a 90% discount of software for academic purposes. You should ask your dept to obtain a copy from LR, they would be happy to oblige, probably for free too.
Which Uni are you at?..if southampton, they are building their own wing there, so it shouldn't be difficult to get a copy.

Ver3 is better than ver5...full of bugs!

Worse case scenario..do it by hand...not that difficult really...

HI Helena

Ah...hmmm.not sure then. Have you thought about contacting LR in Spain?

But as i mentioned, you can always do it by hand. Takes longer, but at least you'll know where the rules come from and understand their limitations too.

I'll send you my email address in a private message.

Ive managed to get the version 3 user manual for you. In addition they have also said "...However, I have arranged a complimentary copy of the latest version (2008) should she wish to use it..."
They have sent links to it, and will fwd a licence key to you.
Not bad eh?
