Rule for Accommodation Below Main Deck Hello ! Is there a rule that prevents from keeping an accommodation below main deck (non passenger vessel)? Where is the rule reference? Further, can we keep accommodation level below Summer LWL? Cheers! Anoop

See C92 Accommodation of Crews Convention (Revised), 1949 Note that, although in force, these requirements are well below the current practice in most places.

Thanks a ton RAraujo. I have always been looking at ILO 133 instead of ILO92. I see that ILO 92 is still applicable in most cases and ILO133 is supplement to ILO 92. Hence the applicability of ILO92 Article 10 Para1. But no other rules or regulations SOLAS, IMO MODU, Classes seem to contain this important piece of rule. Anoop
