Not sure, if there are TWO versions of this book. But in my edition they only deal with ABS

Totally right.
As a matter of fact most of the ISO rules are not mandatory under the RCD. Only a few. Nor is the needing of a Notified Body if using the A modulus. For these and other interpretations of the RCD I recommend the consulting of the 2009 RSG Guidelines.
