International Pipe Color Code?

I have always wondered is there an "International Pipe Color Code" that references what is in that pipes system?
For example, in the engine room, there are water and fuel pipes etc.. Is there an established color that the pipes that carry water would be painted or what color would the pipes be painted that carry fuel etc? If so can someone direct me to an International Pipe Color Chart.

Thanks in advance

Nice chart, George.

I might add that arrows indicating the direction of flow should be included on the outer ends of the coloured bands. And a printed label indicating the pipe's purpose is always welcome; few people have the entire colour code memorized.

For what it's worth, that's a more detailed version of what we use at the natural-gas compressor station where I work. And amen on the directional arrows especially; they can save a lot of time and trouble.
