Gross Tonnage - Norwegian yacht

Does anyone have any experience with Norwegian tonnage rules as applied to yachts? Or a source for printed information?

Specifically, does Norway have a simplified rule used for yachts (less than 24m), including deductions for spaces such as engine rooms etc.

I'm getting conflicting information and don't see anything on the Norwegian Maritime website.

Any help would be appreciated. I know this isn't directly related to Class Societies, but it seems the guys that hang here would likely be the most knowledgeable in this area.

Thanks,

Phil
